This merger represents the oldest and newest 8er owner expertise of two major E31 enthusiast communities in an effort to preserve and support BMW AG’s 1990’s era design masterpiece.: The BMW 8 Series. The vision is simple: create and nurture the best worldwide functional E31 enthusiast online presence. ClubE31 began operations in September 2000 initially as a hobby for a French teenager. The website grew over the years into a must-see global website and consistently receives over 50,000 unique visitors per month. The 8er.ch organization launched September 2007 with a dedicated team of German and Swiss 8er owners determined to construct a world-class automobile enthusiasts’ website. The new website incorporates over 40,000 forum posts, articles, and other information from a collective 8 years of combined operations. The new organization will be known as 8er.org and is now online at www.8er.org representing Europe, North America, Australia/New Zealand, Middle East, and Asia.
